Dedicated to our respected colleague Otis Young. Otis Young, the first black actor to co-star in a TV western series - The Outcasts in the late 1960s - died on October 12th, 2001 of a stroke at the age of 69. From 1989 until his retirement in 1999, Otis was a respected member of the Visual & Performing Arts faculty at Monroe Community College. He taught speech, communications and theater and directed student productions. Otis also was active in the battle to combat AIDS and wrote a play on AIDS awareness. He was a dedicated teacher who loved working at Monroe Community College and he will be greatly missed. Please enjoy viewing the following video clips of this year's contest!
